The ALDF.com, a commercial enterprise, tried to monopolize grants and to spin these diseases to suit the false positive outcomes of their commercial products, as well as try to monopolize all the national blood-testing for vector borne disease (Yale's L2 Diagnostics and Imugen, with Corixa),  and vaccines (patent royalties), and on future blood, grants and patents.  None of what this entity did was about treatment for humans, since it involved Kaiser Permanente since the beginning.

A very important element of this monopoly was Yale's Poly Genomics, which, as partnered with Yale's L2 Diagnostics, would look for genetic MHC or HLA differences and their relatedness to susceptibilities to diseases.
